Spokane, WA | April 3, 2024 – In celebration of the 50th anniversary of Expo ’74, Spokane County Library District (SCLD) invites the public to drop off memorabilia and photos from the Spokane World’s Fair at any of its library locations for an Expo ’74 exhibit being held at libraries in July.Items for the exhibit are being collected at all SCLD libraries April 1–May 10. Library Giving Day donations support the joy and skills of reading for children and teens
Spokane, WA | March 26, 2024 –To boost the Spokane County Library District’s Summer Reading program, the Library Foundation of Spokane County is fundraising on Library Giving Day to give books to kids and teens to kick off summer reading. All proceeds from the campaign will go to the purchase of books, and donations of any size are appreciated. Library Giving Day takes place on Wednesday, April 3, and the fundraising goal is $5,000.
